Steak Sliders with Whiskey Horseradish Sauce
Today, we are making tasty Steak Sliders with a Whiskey Horseradish Sauce using the Sous Vide technique followed by a quick sear on the Gourmet Guru Kamado Grill. The star of this recipe is the Whiskey Horseradish Sauce. For the steak, you can use your favorite cut of beef, but I like Petite Tender with this recipe. It has a nice beefy flavor, is tender, affordable and the slices fit the slider buns perfectly.Whiskey Horseradish Ingredients
• 1/4 cup Horseradish
• 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
• 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
• 1 tablespoon Ranch dressing
• 2 teaspoons thyme
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/4 teaspoon dried ghost pepper (optional)
• 3 tablespoons Kentucky Bourbon
• 3 tablespoons honey
Steak Slider Ingredients
• 1/3 sliced onion
• 1/3 sliced green pepper
• 1/3 sliced red pepper
• 1/3 sliced yellow pepper
• 4 oz chopped mushrooms
• 2 Petite Tender steaks
• Kosher salt and pepper to taste
• Sliced tomatoes
• Slider buns
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Recipe Instructions
Mix together all the Whiskey Horseradish ingredients in a bowl. Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the vegetables (excluding the sliced tomatoes) and cook for about 5 minutes or until the vegetables are soft.
Heat your grill to high. Season the steaks with the salt and pepper, then grill the steaks to medium rare (135 degrees F internal temperature). Let rest for 15 minutes and slice.
Build your sliders with the steak, sliced tomatoes and veggies. Top with the creamy whiskey horseradish sauce.
