Grilled Ribeye Steaks with Red Wine Sauce
Today we are grilling ribeye steaks with a red wine sauce. This recipe is quick and easy. We’ve got some really nice ribeye steaks, weighing in about 1.5 lbs. Now, let’s get started.
Steak Ingredients
- 2 Ribeye steaks, 1.5 – 2 inches thick.
- Tennessee Whiskey Steak and Burger Seasoning (to taste)
Wine Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2/3 cup Red Wine (Cabernet)
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 stick butter
- Sliced Vidalia Onions (optional)
Recipe Instructions
Season both sides of the ribeye steaks with the Tennessee Whiskey Steak seasoning.
Heat the grill to high heat. Cook steaks to medium rare, remove from the grill and let rest.
To cook the sauce, add the butter to a pan over medium heat. When the butter melts, add the other ingredients. Increase the heat to medium high and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 15 minutes. I added some onions, but this is optional and not required for the wine sauce.
After the sauce cooks for 7-10 minutes, drizzle over your ribeye steaks and serve!
